Accessibility

Troopside wants every family to be able to use the sites it builds, including families who use a screen reader, keyboard navigation, magnification, or captions.

We build and test every unit's public site and member hub against WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard most commonly used for websites. Those tests run automatically every time the software changes, on every site at once.

Some things on a unit's site are posted by its volunteers rather than built by Troopside: a scanned form, a photo, a newsletter. Each unit's site has an accessibility page of its own, in its footer, that says who to tell about those.

If something built by Troopside does not work for you, please tell us. Email team@troopside.com and say which site and page you were on and what happened. If you need something in a different format, ask and we will get it to you.

How the software measures against WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA, criterion by criterion, with what was tested and what was found: the accessibility conformance report.
